Kat tells stories through poetry, short stories, plays, and monologues. The subjects of her works address and undress the issues of and in politics, love, loss, identity, and other social concerns.

Her works have been published online and in print. She has made appearances as a guest poet and writer at events in NYC. Her play Undocumented, which follows a young girl who finds out she is in the US illegally, has toured in NYC. It has performed at Stage Left Studio and The Shell Theater.

Kat’s favorite writers include Pete Hamill, Nick Flynn, and Mitch Levenberg.
